Ashenfelter Indoor Track

Great venue. Whack policies. The staff were turning away parents that traveled across the state to see their children compete in track and field

Nice facility, with small set of stands on the home stretch and an oversized field area on one side allowing athletes plenty of room to prepare and stretch for their race or event. The track is banked and uses a Mondo surface, so times are typically fast. It is extremely strictly run and you must pay for parking.

Nice facility. Awful policies and overpriced food. No re-entry is absurd for a 6 hour event

2/28/2026 I drove 150 miles and stayed overnight in a hotel so I could attend the PA State high school track and field meet to watch my grandson compete in his final high school track meet. We (our party of 4) literally got to the door and we're denied access. We were told the facility was at capacity and no more tickets would be sold until someone let the facility. They even denied use of rest room facility. I can only say the staff working the entry doors were rude and unaccomodating. I'm very pissed off.

Had a very bad experience with a girl at the front desk when I came in. I worked with the Special Olympics and they had some free snacks and a smoothie maker with a sign that said "Help Yourself for athletes" When I went to get some free snacks for my client who was a member of the Special Olympics and was considered an athlete we would never have a problem with any of the guys, but this girl came up and told us we couldn't get any. We were respectful and apologized we just thought we could because I worked with athletes. I did tell her they weren't for me, but for an athlete that has a disability and can't get to the snack room herself, but she ignored me. Then everytime I came in she would purposely go to the snacks room and lock it so nobody could have any snacks just because she saw me. It was such an overreaction because I'm a very shy nice person and didn't argue with her. It felt like discrimination against the athetle who was disabled and couldn't get there in her wheelchair. I also didn't plan on returning to the snack room, but I would pass by it as she ran to it to quick lock it. I would also hear other athletes complain they couldn't get it. Just a really uncomfortable
